For a group of cities who love food as much as we do, the Triangle has been in dire need of a food hall—and our first one has finally arrived! After successful soft and grand openings, Blue Dogwood Public Market is fully open for business.
The indoor, year-round market will give 15+ small, local food businesses who may not be able to afford a retail space of their own the chance to get their goods out the world and into our stomachs. Current vendors include a bar, candy shop, butcher, gluten-free bakery, Persian cafe, Latin American restaurant, and vegan soul food spot. Not only is it the first food hall in the Triangle, it's also the first public market in North Carolina to focus on locally and regionally-produced products. Supporting local business FTW!
The market is at 306 West Franklin St in downtown Chapel Hill, and you can check it out during their regular business hours.
