Get Funky & Fun at Union Camp Collective
$, Union Camp Collective, Raleigh

This fun vintage furniture store is tucked away on (the up and coming side of) N. West Street. Charlotte, the owner, is super passionate about vintage collections and hosts an eclectic mix of items from light fixtures, rugs and home accessories, plus an extensive vintage furniture collection. My favorite thing about UCC is the tallest collection of National Geographic magazines I’ve ever seen!

There’s also a fabulous event and creative space for budding artists. She hosts pop-up dinners and other fun affairs like throwback movie nights. Stop by, pick up something unique and catch the cool vibe happening at Union Camp Collective.

Decorate Your Nest at The Local Squirrel
$$, The Local Squirrel, Raleigh

This fantastic shop just opened in Cameron Village next to Moon & Lola. The Local Squirrel features hand-crafted, locally made items from Raleigh and around the state. The Local Squirrel focuses mainly on home accessories and gift items, but also features an assortment of jewelry and paintings as well. I especially love the raw cotton handmade wreaths made right here by an NC native. The Local Squirrel also features rotating local artist paintings that are stunning and make the perfect accent to any dining or living room.

Shop for a Unique Gift at Deco

Deco is your go-to spot for all things Raleigh. The shop is an active supporter of Raleigh’s downtown community and a great place to find something handcrafted and symbolic of our city. If you have out-of-town guests visiting, Deco is the place to take them find the perfect Raleigh souvenir!

Great art prints and pillows can help bring a little Raleigh flavor into any home! I personally love local artist Autumn Cobeland’s painting of the Triangle Greenway System and she (and Deco) give a percentage of the sales back to the TGS and City of Raleigh Parks & Rec. Shop local Raleigh!
