Wind Your Way Through The Labyrinth at Duke Chapel
Take some time out of the hustle and bustle of everyday and get some clarity at the Labyrinth Walk—an annual tradition at Duke Chapel that allows you to pause and reflect on life.
Every year Duke Chapel hosts a Labyrinth Walk, a single winding path contained in a 40-foot circle where participants wind their way to the center of the labyrinth and pause for meditation, prayer, or a just a moment to reflect, before following the same circuitous path outward. The walk is an ancient spiritual practice of meditation and self-centering found in religious traditions from around the world. All are welcome to walk the walk—so, whether you frequent Sunday services or you've never stepped foot inside a church, the Labyrinth walk is waiting for you to snake your way to a moment of peace, quiet and reflection.
The full experience takes between 30 minutes and an hour to complete.
