Where This Flower Blooms will take us to the root of our experiences. It will magnify the many ways we are catapulted toward growth and faced with a choice: ascension or stagnation. When we share parts of ourselves that are intimate—our mistakes, our failures, experiences of trauma and emotional pain—we are not only sharing our own stories but we are relaying the stories of many others. Join us as we breathe the experiences of our peers and celebrate the powerful artists of color in this community.

Guest Speaker: Anastasia Williams, Founder of A Will to Thrive Counseling. Anastasia will speak about the value of therapy and will address mental health stigmas in Black and Brown communities.

Sponsors: The Carrack, Art Post, Horizons at the Oakwood School
