Wander Along Waterways on the Harpeth River Greenway
At a lengthy seven and a half miles, the Harpeth River Greenway follows both the Little Harpeth and Harpeth rivers.
The Warner Parks are a well-known Nashville gem, but did you know an extensive greenway starts from inside Edwin Warner Park? The paved seven and a half mile Harpeth River Greenway actually has two trailheads located inside the park, one off of Highway 100 and the other next to Park Shelter number 11, and meanders through Bellevue. The greenway has a number of water fountains scattered throughout the trail, with five in total. Of note—if you opt to park at the Bellevue Exchange Club Trailhead, beware that it is subject to frequent flooding, so it may not be accessible after heavy rains. This map
outlines the trailhead options, as well as delineates each water fountain.
