If you're wondering whether the Cash Museum is worth it, it is. Even if you're barely familiar with his music, you'll leave with a great understanding of Cash's life and his impact on the music world.

The Johnny Cash Museum, even for those unfamiliar with his music and life, is something you should definitely experience while in Nashville. They've done a fantastic job assembling, displaying and telling the story of his life, while keeping it entertaining and engaging. Through the tour you'll get a taste of his early years, listen to how his music progressed over the years, learn about his relationship with June Carter and walk away with a true understanding of The Man in Black. Make sure you take a peek at the room dedicated to his records and 45s—seeing every recording Cash made side-by-side gives you a true understanding for the longevity and enormity of his career. You'll learn that Johnny wasn't just a music man, he also dove into acting and art! Don't miss his pieces near the end of the exhibit.

Wander across the street to get acquainted with another Nashville gem, the Goo Goo Shop!
