Toast to Delicious Cocktails at Old Glory
Today, 12:00p - 12:00a
The brand new restaurant and bar in Edgehill Village is serving up small plates and specialty cocktails that are as grand as their winding staircase.
As the name suggests, sisters Alexis and Britt Soler have revitalized a space in Edgehill Village to create a stunning new restaurant and bar. If you can find your way in (the entrance is through an alleyway and quietly marked with a golden triangle), you'll be greeted with exposed brick, a sky-high smokestack, colorful tile and plush leather booths. And while your eyes may be on the beautiful interior, all eyes may be on you as you make your way down the winding grand staircase from the entrance to the main floor (strike a pose, you handsome devil!).
As for the menu, the cocktails sound killer—how about an All Gold Everything, a Cowboy Curtis or a Bang Bang to get your night started? If you pop in for lunch or dinner, you can nibble on the Liptauer Cheese Dip (house farmer's cheese spread served with marinated mushrooms), the Seasonal Tartine or the House Lox Board (hand-dipped ricotta, toast, capers, onion, apple and dill mostarda). And for a sweet treat to end the night, get The Sweet Thing, a platter of house-made candy.
