Throwback Thursday: Jam with Vanilla Ice at the State Fair
Ice is back with a brand new invention. Just kidding—he hasn't changed much since his days atop the charts. The Vanilla Ice we all love is throwing down at the State Fair, so go raise the roof.
During his meteoric rise to fame in the early 1990s, Vanilla Ice topped the charts with his hit "Ice Ice Baby." After his fame began to fade, the rapper switched gears and became a professional jet-skier and later began appearing in TV reality shows. For $5 you can see this 1990s phenom live at the NC State Fair in Dorton Arena for their Throwback Thursday Show! Tickets will go on sale August 1st on the State Fair website

The State Fair is about celebrating food and agriculture in North Carolina while creating healthy competition. The NC State Fair has hundreds of food vendors, ranging from deep fried cookie dough to traditional corn dogs. There are also a wide variety of carnival games and rides for you to enjoy.
