Durham-based Americana music savant Phil Cook bores down to the roots of American traditional music with some folk songs and gospel tunes.

Duke Gardens' summer outdoor music series are back! The shows take place in the lawn behind the Visitor's Center—we highly encourage bringing lawn chairs, picnics and blankets! But if you're in a pinch and don't have time to shop, they've got you covered—food and beverages, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase during the performances. The lawn will open 30 minutes prior to the start of show so you can find the best patch of grass to, and parking is free after 5p.

Tickets and details on the shows available here. Tickets are $10, $5 for Duke students and employees.
