Stroll Through Coker Arboretum
Stop and smell the flowers, or check out many of the other botanical discoveries in the Coker Arboretum.
In 1903, Dr. William Coker decided to take learning outdoors, and today, over 100 years later UNC Chapel Hill's amazing arboretum is still flourishing.
Check it out year round from dusk to dawn to find breathtaking walking trails and spectacular vegetation. Yes, spectacular is the right word to describe this vegetation. With North Carolina native plants as well as East Asian trees and shrubs, something is always in bloom.
