Stroll the Shore on the Lake Trail
Today, 6:00a - 7:30p
Visitors flock to Radnor Lake to see its namesake, so not surprisingly, the Lake Trail is a highly trafficked route.
On any given picturesque day in Middle Tennessee, you can be assured of one thing: Radnor Lake and its surrounding trails will be brimming with visitors taking in the pleasant weather. Chances are, the Lake Trail will be one of the busiest spots in the park. Rated as easy and only 1.35 miles in length, the Lake trail is a favorite of young and old alike, due to its scenic views. It eventually runs into Otter Creek Road, the paved route along the Lake's south end that takes you back to the parking lots on the west and east side of the park. Dogs are prohibited on the unpaved Lake Trail due to the fragile ecosystem, so you could very well spot deer, turtles and other creatures.
