"SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED is a group show featuring exciting new work by Scott Rolfe, Tisha Weddingtion, and Metallicity Jewelry Designs.

The show opens on Friday, November 16th with a reception from 7-9pm. Artwork will be on exhibit and for sale in the gallery through the end of the year.

SCOTT ROLFE is a mixed media and assemblage artist based in Austin, TX. He grew up in the Northeast and has a degree from Connecticut College. In his statement Scott says, "My eyes are always open for art possibilities in the discarded; broken household appliances, rusty metal, forgotten toys. These unwanted objects come to life in my art with their own unique personalities, from eccentric animals to dilapidated machines."

TISHA WEDDINGTON grew up in Raleigh, attended the NC School of the Arts, followed by the Art Institute of Chicago, before returning home. Over the past twenty years she has developed her own uniquely intuitive and surreal style and subject matter. We are very excited to be presenting brand new paintings that will certainly, as she hopes, "impart a sense of wonder to the viewer."

METALLICITY JEWELRY DESIGN has just celebrated their first year in business here in Raleigh. Owners Lilla Taylor and Tony Nemyer focus on custom jewelry design ranging from cutting edge to vintage-inspired. Both designers bring over 50 years of combined experience to their partnership and offer custom design creations, as well as repairs, restorations and appraisal services."
