Soak Up Scenic Views at Foster Falls
Today, 6:00a - 8:00p
Ready to get wet and wild? This 60-foot waterfall, located less than two hours outside of Nashville, is tucked away in a natural area that's filled with colorful wild flowers and rock formations.
Foster Falls, part of South Cumberland State Park, is actually one of the top climbing destinations in the southeast. But, if you're not a climber, rest easy—the falls are just a short hike away from the parking area. If you're looking for more of a challenge, walk past the overlook and hike down through the gorge to the waterfall's base. As long as the area has received its fair share of rain, you'll see a gorgeous 60-foot waterfall.
Besides climbing and hiking, primitive camping is also available around Foster Falls. If it's a warm weekend, bring your suits and take a dip in the watering hole!
