Soak in Riverfront Views at Cumberland Park
Today, 5:00a - 11:00p
With a splashpad and stunning views of Downtown and the Cumberland River, this grassy spot is perfect for an afternoon picnic.
Cumberland Park is 6.5 acres of play structures and water features that are designed for children and families (this time, Trix really are for kids). But look beyond the spraying fountains and fun-size rock wall and you'll find a manicured lawn, boardwalk, and outdoor amphitheater (you may have attended an event or two at this locale). The green space is perfect for a picnic, cracking open a new book, or sunbathing—slathered in SPF, of course! The boardwalk extends out over the Cumberland River, which means you can get an insta-worthy shot of you and your crew. Need to up your FitBit game for the day? Take the staircase (or elevator) up to Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge for a view of the Batman Building and the Nashville skyline.
Pro tip: parking for Cumberland Park is connected to Nissan Stadium, so we'd suggest removing this from your itinerary if it's game day!
