Sip Cosmos at Cocktails & Cosmonauts
What do cocktails and cosmonauts have in common? They both want you seeing stars—but in this case it's super star drinks from around the area and awesome astronomical sights from around the galaxy.
We can't all be rocket scientists, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the fruits of their labor at an event that celebrates mankind's endeavors in exploring the "final frontier." And what better way to celebrate it than with samples of outta-this-world drinks from local restaurants and distilleries?
The upcoming installment of the Durham Museum of Life and Science's AfterHours event is "Cocktails and Cosmonauts" and it's dedicated to exploring new taste horizons and quenching your thirst for knowledge. One ticket gets you access to the museum-wide open bar, along with entry to the museum's Launch Lab where you can test your space-savviness with rocket launchers, hover tables, wind tubes and more! And if that's not enough, there will be food trucks outside, along with some groovy space-inspired music.
Note: This event is for ages 21+ and has limited tickets available. Better snag one
before they sell out!
