Scarf Down a Country Lunch at Arnold's
Today, 10:30a - 2:45p
Arnold's is a mom-and-pop joint that's been pleasing locals and celebs with award-winning country cookin' since the '80s.
Nashville is notorious for their meat-and-three concept and no one does it better than Arnold's. With a rotating list of offerings that includes the likes of roast beef, fried catfish, chicken & dumplings, fried green tomatoes, okra and candied yams, you're guaranteed a classic country meal. Oh, and you can't beat a place where a heaping portion will set you back less than $8! It's cafeteria-style, so don't worry if there's a line when you arrive (there probably will be!), it moves quickly. It's a mistake not to opt for dessert—the scratch-made banana pudding is so good you'll want to lick the plate (we won't tell if you do) and the pecan pie and chess are worth a nibble too.
Biggest mistake of all? Coming for dinner! Arnold's is only open for lunch on weekdays.
