The seemingly nondescript location of Suarez Bakery is inversely proportionate to the yumminess of what lies within. At a first glance your eyes and nose are overwhelmed with stacks on stacks of eclairs, Napoleons, puff pastries, enormous cupcakes and ornate wedding cakes. To the left you'll notice large glass panes where customers can watch the artists do what they do best in real time – sort of like an amazing assembly line that is truly hypnotizing to watch. Lesser known facts: on saturdays the block is engulfed in the sweet aroma of freshly baked Cuban bread and ever so often the display windows will be stocked with delicious pastelitos, cuban-style filled pastries (we personally recommend trying the guava)! The friendly staff is always willing to help you with the myriad of choices. Order a cake for a special someone or swing by for a cookie and coffee to go. Owned by a Miami-Cuban expat with one helluva story, Suarez Bakery will have everyone's sweet tooth singing.
