Alley Twenty Six is a classic cocktail bar that has the vibe of an old-timey speakeasy. This is not the kind of bar where you want to order a gin and tonic and call it a day—these experts create craft masterpieces. Armed with fresh ingredients, fine spirits, home-made soda syrups and juices, it's wise to choose something off their carefully curated menu. Or get creative—you can give your bartender a spirit and an adjective to make your custom, classy cocktail, like "gin and whimsical" or "bourbon and gritty." Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. The interior of the venues matches its classy drinks with high ceilings, exposed brick and a very long and thin bar.
In February 2016, Alley Twenty Six has expanded their food menu and incorporated Kitchen Lab, a small, farm-to-table kitchen staffed by Chef Carrie Schleiffer, formerly of Bar Virgile and G2B. A few recent dishes include Hand Cut Steak Tartare and a Chèvre Prosciutto plate. The Kitchen Lab menu will be offered Monday through Thursday 4–7pm and Friday & Saturday 4-10p.
