Prim & Proper at The Triangle Polo Classic
William & Kate watch it, Prince Harry plays it—pretty much the only reasons we need to grab a bottle of Veuve Clicquot (lies, it'll likely be Andre) and head over to the Triangle Polo Classic.
The Triangle Polo Classic is the first event of its kind—at least in the area. Polo is one of the oldest sports around, the Brits have been playing it for years, but it hasn't really caught on in the good ol' US of A. Until now. Take a break from your standard sports and come out to get some culture, support a great cause and sip champagne. Yes, and by culture we mean watch 8 guys on ponies hit a tiny ball with mallets. Did we mention that tailgating is a key part of the tradition? It is. As is the divot stomp (c'mon, you remember that hilarious scene in Pretty Woman?!).
