"Poet and essayist Joanna Penn Cooper is the author of The Itinerant Girl's Guide to Self-Hypnosis (Brooklyn Arts Press) and What Is a Domicile (Noctuary Press). Her work has appeared in The Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day, South Dakota Review, Zocálo Public Square, Poetry International, and other journals. Joanna lives in Durham and teaches online workshops in flash memoir and lyric essay for Creative Nonfiction. She has two new chapbooks, When We Were Fearsome from the Ethel Zine and Mud Woman, a collaborative work with Rebecca Bratten Weiss, from dancing girl press.
Joe Fletcher is the author of the full-length collection The Hatch (Brooklyn Arts Press) and two chapbooks: Already It Is Dusk (Brooklyn Arts Press) and Sleigh Ride (Factory Hollow Press). He teaches in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at UNC, as well as in the North Carolina prison system. He is Managing Editor of the William Blake Archive.
Lauren Hunter is the author of Human Achievements (Birds, LLC 2017). She lives in Durham.
Jessica Q. Stark is a poet living in Durham, NC where she is a doctoral student in the English Department at Duke University. Her poems and/or illustrations have appeared most recently in Tupelo Quarterly, Lute & Drum, and for the Glass Poetry Journal: Poets Resist series. Her chapbook poetry manuscript, The Liminal Parade, won Heavy Feather's Double Take Poetry Prize in 2016. Her mini-chapbook, Vasilisa the Wise, was recently published by Ethel Zine Press and her first full-length poetry collection, Savage Pageant, is forthcoming with Birds LLC. She writes an ongoing love poem zine for the Internet."
