"Let's go for a run!
The fine folks from the BB&T Corporate Cup 5K and Half Marathon will be joining us with...wait for it...DISCOUNT CODES and information about their upcoming 40th annual race on Saturday, March 9th! Swing by their table after running our marked and color coded 1, 3 & 5 mile routes.
As always, be courteous to our neighbors while running by making sure to look both ways before darting into traffic, running off to the side and letting cars pass, and be sure to give our neighbors a wave as you run by! If you need a reflective vest or running light, let our Director Carla or one of our Ambassadors know and we'll get you taken care of. Safety first!
If you're hungry after your run, the Tin Kitchen Food Truck is always on site for you to grab some grub.

"Make your footprints count & join us for the 40th annual BB&T Corporate Cup 5K and Half Marathon on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Kicking off the Charlotte running season, this fundraiser is the YMCA of Greater Charlotte's largest road race with more than 3,000 runners in 2018. With the community's support, the race raised more than $200,000 for the Y's Annual Campaign, enabling the Y to offer programs and services that nurture the potential of kids and teens, promote healthy living, foster a sense of social responsibility and strengthen the foundations of community.
The race starts & ends in Uptown Charlotte and is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels - beginner to expert – with a 5K, half marathon & half marathon relay distance. ""
