All produce and goods sold are picked, plucked, planted, churned, etc. within a 50-mile radius of Carrboro/Chapel Hill and the people selling at the market are the growers themselves, not just a salesperson—that adds a layer of love you can't get just anywhere. If you're not a fan of fruits and veggies, you'll still find something to satisfy (but we do recommend a daily vitamin). You can pick up fresh baked goods, eggs, honey, meat, dairy products, herbs, flowers and more. On occasion, the market hosts special events like cooking demos from locally acclaimed chefs, live music and samples from local breweries. We'd love for it to be open every day of the week, but the farmers gotta have time to grow, so we'll settle for two times a week (after all, two is better than one).
