By Chelsea Pieroni
"Celebrate the longest day of the year with yoga practitioner Carrington Razook Jackson as she leads us through an early morning yoga session in Flowers Field. Watch the sun rise over downtown Raleigh on the first day of summer as you breathe, stretch, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.

This session is suitable for all ages and abilities. Previous knowledge of yoga is not necessary. Bring your yoga mat or a towel, and a filled water bottle.

Please arrive at 5:45am, and find a spot in Flowers Field. We'll get started a little after 6 a.m. We are so excited to ring in the official start of summer with you at beautiful Dorothea Dix Park!

The address of the field is roughly 2105 Umstead Drive.

Parking is available off of Umstead Drive, a short walk from Flowers Field. Please watch for signs. Walking on grass and uneven surfaces may be necessary.

This event is generously co-sponsored by Happy + Hale." –Dix Park
