Join the Resistance Rodeo
Food trucks, music, activism. Head to Central Park on Saturday, March 4 for a round-up of organizations dedicated to the environment, LGBTQ rights, women's rights, immigration and more.
"Food Trucks, Music, Activism!
The Resistance Rodeo is designed to help people show up, plug in and take action, channeling the energy of those now inspired to take action into the work of the many existing, and newly formed, organizations taking action across a number of interest areas.
Free for any organization work on (including but not limited to): environment, women's and reproductive rights, police violence, education inequality, immigration, LGBTQ rights, economic justice, worker's rights, and disenfranchisement. We can expect an unrelenting and widespread assault on our values from the current regime and we must organize, respond and resist.
The Resistance Rodeo is inspired by the millions who are rising up in opposition to the racist, Islamophobic, misogynistic, and oppressive systems that have become unmasked in the last year. The organizers recognize that these systems have long been in place, but are experiencing a validation and resurgence that must be resisted. The Resistance Rodeo is an opportunity to engage our community and advance means of individual and collective action." –People's Alliance
