First of all, we're a little pissed that our high school guidance counselor didn't guide us toward Gelato University, but, we're happy that the Paglias attended and brought their knowledge and skills to the QC. They're applying their gelato chops and churning out a top quality product made with top quality ingredients. They use milk from Homeland Creamery in Julian, NC, seasonal sorbets are made with fruit picked at local and regional farms, but they go straight to the source with some ingredients to ensure authenticity. They import Bronte pistachios from Sicily and hazelnut paste from the Piemonte region. Try the bacio (milk chocolate and hazelnut) or pistachio if you're feeling safe, or walk on the wild side with lemon ricotta.
