MOUTH-WATERING VIDEO >> Crawford and Son Named the Triangle's Best Restaurant of the Year
Crawford and Son was named Triangle Restaurant of the Year for 2018 by the News & Observer.
Crawford and Son is shaking up the dining scene on Person St. Located in the space that used to belong to Piebird, this upscale eatery offers a small, highly-curated menu of southern-inspired eats, including crispy catfish, parmesan grits and rabbit pot pie, in addition to culinary curveballs like the sugar cream tart (Dulcey cream, paw paw and buttermilk sherbet) or the goat ragout appetizer. The restaurant is owned by Scott Crawford, whose resume includes Standard Foods, five years at Herons at The Umstead Hotel and multiple accolades by the James Beard Foundation and Forbes Travel Guides.
