Have a Sunday-Style Supper at 5th and Taylor
Today, 5:00p - 1:00a
Beautiful ambience, knowledgable servers, and food to die for—this is a Nashville newbie that will soon become an old favorite!
5th and Taylor just popped up in Historic Germantown and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! Self-described as a place that wants to celebrate the tradition of weekly Sunday suppers, this spot is serving up innovative takes on classic dishes with the hope of bringing together the community through delicious food. The digs are completely new, but reminiscent of an old-warehouse with a killer lounge and patio. You'll feel like you're dining in the home of a pal with an impeccable eye for design.
That eye for design? You can bet it carries over to plating too. Executive Chef Daniel James Lindley, a James Beard Foundation nominee, is dishing out masterpieces. Whether you're in the lounge nibbling on a snack or dining al fresco on a three-course meal prepare to be wowed! Here's some food for thought: start with beef tartar served with capers and mustard seed, move on to the heirloom tomato salad, and feast on beer-can chicken with a beer sauce served table side poured from a PBR can. (Now that's a chef that knows the way to our heart!)
Foodie and history buff? Admire the sculpture in the middle of the dining room—its a tribute to General Francis Nash (our namesake!).
