Patisserie. A French term used to describe the best pastries and sweets you could possibly imagine. In France and Belgium the title of patisserie is one that can only be used if the pastry shop has an officially licensed patissier. Talk about a serious sweet tooth.
As we all know, the French and Belgians aren't the only people serious about their sweets. Although we'd love to get our pastry fix in France, Raleigh now has its own patisserie serving delicacies that are out of this world. Lucettegrace Patisserie's options range from cakes to cookies to macaroons. Lucky for us, owner Daniel Benjamin understands the essentials of sugar. The patisserie is open 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Thursday. Guess this means eclairs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bon appétit.
