Benny's first opened up in Blacksburg, VA, but has since spread a little further south. Benny was born in Italy, but raised in Brooklyn, thus he recognizes the importance of bringing in the authenticity of a neighborhood. Benny Capitale's is obviously named for Raleigh's capital-city status—and it's just a block from the capitol. But don't just go for the atmosphere, go for a slice of pizza that requires two plates to hold it. Go for a slice bigger than your head. And if you're famished or feeding an army, go for a 28" pizza! The selection is pretty simple, but it'll please your pizza seeking palate just the same. There's also a full selection of craft beer. Bonus, they're open late night on the weekend! Just what DTR needed.
