Go Horseback Riding at Dead Broke Farm
Enjoy a horseback ride through the rolling hills, creek crossings, beautiful hardwood trees, and wildlife at Dead Broke Farm. You'll be lead by an experienced tour guide.
They have a number of different options based your group size and the occasion (e.g., a Birthday Party). The most basic option is a 1 or 2 hour trail ride. We'd recommend reserving a spot on one of those rides unless you have a large group.
This option includes a brief riding demonstration and instructions for mounting your horse, adjusting your stirrups, and making sure your saddles are tight before the start of each ride. The brief instruction period means that you'll be at the farm a little longer than the 1 or 2 hour duration of your ride.
Pro Tip: bring bottled water and/or camera with you, wear long pants, and pack your closed toed shoes.
