Go Canoeing at Paddle Creek

Paddle Creek offers guided trips down the beautiful Neuse River for those not so rainy days. Cost includes kayak or canoe rental. Where the road ends... the river (and your adventure) begins!

Living in the middle of North Carolina, the chances to get out on the water are a little limited. Luckily, Paddle Creek will take you for a leisurely 3-mile float through tree-lined banks and peaceful river scenery. The trip lasts about 1.5 hours, allowing any paddler the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Neuse River Raleigh Canoe Trail.

About Paddle Creek:

To enjoy the activities at Paddle Creek, park at the take out on Capital Blvd between Raleigh and Wake Forest. You'll be given you a life vest, paddle, and a seat in the van for a 15 minute ride to the put in. They’ll get you fixed up with a canoe, kayak or stand up paddle board in the water and give you a safety briefing/pep talk/ lecture about playing nice with others, and then you're off! When you're done make sure to check back in with the guides so they know you survived and they'll take care of the equipment. Easy peasy.
