What used to be just a walk up window has been transformed into one of DT Raleigh's most stylish and creative dining experiences. Although Garland is a small space, you don't need to worry about missing it from the outside; the entry way is decked out in disco ball style mosaics. Venturing inside, you'll continue to find bold and stylish decor, with dark walls, and a back wall covered in bright pictures and prints. As for seating, you'll find a row of booths to the left, a long communal table in the middle and a large bar on the right. Now let's get to the good stuff, the flavors. The menu is focused around refined global home cuisine (inspired by the chef's childhood in India and Brooklyn) and changes with the season. Garland extends their interesting and exciting flavors to the cocktail menu as well, with liquors such as jasmine infused gin and toasted-coconut infused rum.
