About Our Guest DJ

Kid Cola (Sub-Culture, Dancegruvradio, Fayetteville NC)

Sub-Culture is an experienced, professional DJ collective from Fayetteville, N.C. Established in 2010, the collective consists of Nate Stanley (Kid Cola), Christian Muffley (Twilight), Justin McDonald (Slodrive), and newly added members include Sonya Forman (Briddy) and Misha Lewis (Misha).

Over the last eight years they have cultivated a monthly club night in Fayetteville focused on exploring the sounds of House and Bass music. What started out as an idea has now become a mainstay in the local music scene of Fayetteville! Over the years, Sub-Culture has moved the monthly party around the city to various bars and clubs, but the one thing that has always stayed the same is the music. The collective has brought a wide variety of local talent from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, to Fayetteville to showcase at their monthly party.

Sub-Culture's signature sound can be best described as House & Bass. Sub-Culture is all about pushing forward-thinking music on the dance floor, whether it's 4×4 House or Broken Beat bass heavy music. They have opened up for the likes of Mark Farina, Sunshine Jones, Diesel Boy, Antiserum, John Graham aka Quivver, Foundless, J Paul Getto, Demarkus Lewis, Deejay Theory, and Doc Link.

In the fall of 2013, Sub-Culture was added to the legendary Mosaic Wine Lounge DJ residency in downtown Raleigh, NC. Sub-Culture is currently hosting various parties in Fayetteville and around the state of North Carolina with Dancegruv Radio.
