Experience the Great Outdoors at Natchez Trace State Park
Located about 90 minutes outside of Nashville via Interstate 40, the 48,000+ acre Natchez Trace State Park offers visitors hiking trails, camping, horseback riding and more!
Situated on an alternate route of the old Natchez Trace Parkway, Natchez Trace State Park is far enough off the beaten path that you will feel like you are worlds away from Western Tennessee. The park includes three lakes, hiking trails that range in distance from one half mile to four and a half miles and a multitude of camping sites, as well as a restaurant, if preparing your own food amongst nature isn't your thing. There's also a 40-mile overnight trail if you can't get enough of the great outdoors, and fishing is especially popular due to the abundance of streams. If you want to see the park via horseback, opt for the 250 miles of riding trails on the south end of the park.
