Escape into Nature at the JC Raulston Arboretum
4415 Beryl Rd, Raleigh
Inspiration from Offline

Visit one of NC State University's treasures, the JC Raulston Arboretum. Stroll through the beautiful gardens and learn about plants from all over the world.

The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed garden with a diverse collection of landscape plants adapted for use in the Southeast. Take a stroll through the free gardens any day of the year.

During your visit to the JC Raulston Arboretum you'll be surprised at the number of specialized gardens on the grounds. Collections are vast and include magnolias, holly, maples, redbuds and more. One of our favorite gardens is the peaceful Japanese Maple Collection, featuring purple-leaf, dwarf, and full sized maples and more.

You'll be transplanted to a serene place in the middle of Raleigh during your visit to the JC Raulston Arboretum. The gardens are free to visit, and, if you dig it, we encourage you to become a member to support the garden's daily operations and maintenance.
