Poole's has technically been around since the 1940s when it first opened as a pie shop, but in its latest incarnation, Poole's is under the ownership of Ashley Christensen (Chuck's, Joule, Beasley's). She's restored it to its diner roots, but with a stylish spin. Retro charm remains intact with the red leather banquettes, but additions like lucite chairs keep it modern.
