Durham's first food hall will open in the mixed-use Liberty Warehouse Apartments in mid 2019!

Durham Food Hall will open in mid 2019 in the mixed-use Liberty Warehouse Apartments adjacent to Durham Central Park. The concept, headed up by Durham native Adair Mueller, will bring the vibe of NYC food-halls that Mueller fell in love with while living there, but highlight local vendors.

Read on for everything you need to know about this upcoming spot. We'll keep this updated as we learn more!

The emphasis of the hall is on sustainability and local food sourcing, and the great lineup of local vendors follows suit.

Locals Seafood Market & Oyster Bar

This farmers market fave gets a permanent spot, serving up fresh, seasonal NC seafood—both prepared or ready for you to take home and cook yourself.

Lula & Sadie's

This new restaurant will feature seasonal food with an emphasis on Southern roots.

Liturgy Beverage

This coffee and tea shop has been popping up everywhere from weddings to night markets, and is finally getting a brick and mortar spot to highlight their curated products from artisan growers.

Old North Meats and Provisions

Another new spot will feature house-smoked meats, sausages, charcuterie and local cheeses—perfect for enjoying a good cheese board or deli sandwich.

Napoli Pizza and Gelato

From the food-truck favorites, this stall will be serving up Neapolitan wood-fired pizza with naturally risen dough. Finish it off with and scratch-made sweet gelatos and sorbets.

Another new restaurant featuring cookie cakes and dessert flights (so you can taste a little bit of everything without feeling bad at all).

Ex-Voto Cocina Nixtamal

From the owner of Gallo Pelón Mezcaleria in Raleigh, this new spot will use heirloom corn and nixtamalization (a special process for preparing cornmeal) to produce items like tacos, tamales, and tostadas.

Everything Bagel

Boutique bagel shop serving locally sourced, avant-garde bagel creations.

Drink Dharma

Juice shop owned and operated out of Raleigh—this will be their first physical location!

Lima Peruvian

More info to come!

Pop-Up Vendor

The last stall will feature a six-month pop-up for local food-makers who fit their sustainable vibe.

The Space

They're taking a 12,000-square-foot space on the ground floor that will include a mezzanine, ten mini eateries, two bars, and two private event spaces.
