The Catawba River is in trouble. This is problematic for a lot of reasons, but a big deal for local breweries—good beer needs good water. Grab a beer at 19 area breweries to donate to the cause.

If you like your water "so fresh and so clean" (hint, you do), you want to support the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. They educate and advocate to protect the Catawba-Wateree River Basin's lakes, rivers and streams for everyone who depends on and enjoys them (hint, that's you). Water is a super important component of beer, and good water means better beer. So, 19 Charlotte-area breweries and bottle shops have pledged to donate during River Week (August 7–13). You do the drinking, they'll do the donating.
