"The annual Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting returns Saturday, November 23, to the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The Tree Lighting kicks off the Raleigh Holiday season with a celebration of all downtown has to offer, including local entertainment, crafting activities, food and retail vendors, and photo opps to create a memorable holiday evening.

Jump start your holiday shopping by visiting Downtown Raleigh retail vendors and Marbles Kids Museum Pop-Up Corner Store.

Enjoy live entertainment from Moore Square Middle School Choral &  Dance Ensembles, Encore Singers, Takiri Folclor Latino, and the Al Strong Quartet.

Don't forget to bring your camera (or at least a full phone battery!) for multiple photo opportunities with Santa Claus!

Airing live on ABC11 WTVD, the tree will be lit by Mayor Nancy McFarlane and Raleigh City Council members around 7:30pm.

The Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting Celebration is powered by Downtown Raleigh Alliance with support from our sponsors Alpha Production Group, Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, ABC11 WTVD, and Raleigh Magazine, in partnership with City of Raleigh and Marbles Kids Museum."
