Specialized in pasta "fatta a mano" (made from scratch), owner duo Josh DeCarolis and Matt Kelly will wow you with lesser know Italian flavors. The name itself derives from Italian family traditions, particularly those of communal cuisine and the closeness between mothers and their sons.
You'll begin your meal with light bites, ranging from "spuntini" of olives and cold cuts, "arancini" rice balls and a variety of bruschettas, moving on to your "primi" (first course) of rich, handmade pasta in all shapes and sizes and the heftier, meaty-heavy "secondi" (second course) with seasonal stakes and seafood, accompanied by fresh, leafy sides like spring squash and artichoke. Regardless of your choice, Mothers & Sons will always keep it interesting by bringing you lesser known flavors of Italy, paired with delicious drinks and wrapped in an inimitably intimate ambiance.
