Discover a Secluded Spot at Suter Falls
Part of the Savage Gulf State Natural Area, Suter Falls is a difficult two-mile out-and-back hike.
Suter Falls is located inside the massive 15,590-acre Savage Gulf State Natural Area and is a challenging hike off the beaten path. The two-mile out-and-back trek is considered difficult due to rocky bluffs, but you are rewarded at the end of the hike with the 40-foot waterfall. Depending on the time of year, the water may vary in intensity from a mere trickle to a fairly intense flow.
Pro tip: this trail is dog-friendly, as long as your four-legged friend's on a leash.
