Devour an NC-Meets-NYC Biscuit from Neal's
Today, Closed Today
Biscuits are just about as Southern as you get, but Neal's Deli is turning that notion on its head by stuffing their biscuits with homemade pastrami.
Neal's makes a darn good biscuit. They're big, they're buttery, they're warm and flaky, and they're stuffing them with pastrami. Rumor has it Neal's pastrami rivals that of the iconic Katz's Delicatessen in NYC. Making the pastrami is a true labor of love—it takes almost a week to get such a delicious end product.
If aren't convinced that the Southern staple and Yankee favorite play nicely together, both the biscuits and the pastrami have been mentioned in Food & Wine magazine as some of the best of their kind, and everyone knows best + best = the dankness.
