"Day Show w/ Striking Copper + Ries Brothers + Neil Cribbs + Free Pool + Bloody Mary Bar!
Striking Copper is a harmony driven roots rock band led by redhead twin sisters, Allie and Jacquie Lee, whose powerhouse vocals bring a feminine charm to their rock and roll counterparts.
The band is rounded out with Matt Donnelly (vocals, rhythm guitar), Dan Bennett (lead guitar), Joseph Dail (bass guitar) and Frank Cacciutto (drums).
Striking Copper uses haunting vocal arrangements, accompanied with full volume instruments, delivering a lasting, melodic sound. Based out of Wilmington, North Carolina, the six piece band's music draws from humanity, embodies strength in vulnerability and authors homage to home.
The band believes music is a way in which to tell a story. It's not just what the story is about, but it's how you present it, and how you preserve it.
THE RIES BROTHERS:
The Ries Brothers, a duo from Tampa Bay, FL, have a soulful-sophisticated sound. Charlie sings lead vocals while simultaneously playing drums and keyboard bass giving the band it's full sound. Kevin completes the band's creativity on guitar and more.
Neil is a blues and soul-soaked Americana musician transplanted from Wilmington to Atlanta to Raleigh, North Carolina. Neil has opened for Huey Lewis and the News, Billy Ocean, Pam Tillis and more. He also performed on the Rombello Music Cruise, Red Stripe Festivals, Atlanta Pride Festivals, Dogwood Festivals and many others. After slating over 200 shows per year for a number of years he settled back in Raleigh and has turned primarily to house concerts, ticketed venues, and festivals. He's currently touring on his 5th album The Moss and the Stone, a stripped down lyric-driven blues/folk EP.
As the songwriting continues so does the morphing and blending of styles. He creates his own mixtape of independently written songs consistently pushing the notions of positivity, love, and unity."
