We are delighted to welcome Satoshi Katakura back to Durham to bring you a memorable evening of culinary collaboration in the izakaya. Each year, we are lucky to have Satoshi travel to Durham to collaborate with Billy for a unique omakase dinner series. Dashi's ownership first met Satoshi in 2014 at his izakaya in Tokyo, Hiro, where he crafts dishes with the freshest ingredients centered around the bounty of Japanese seafood. Since that first visit, Satoshi has joined Chef Billy Cotter for omakase dinners at Dashi in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Dashi's team has also worked in the kitchen at Hiro during their 2017 trip to Tokyo!
