Create & Learn at Charlotte Mini Maker Faire
We can't say no to an all-ages gathering of techies, crafters, educators, authors, artists, students and all-around tinkerers. It's like a great big game of 'Show and Tell.'
The Maker's Faire is a celebration of creativity in all it's forms! For one day, creative minds of all sorts—everyone from tech geniuses to talented artists—will gather to show, tell, sell, teach and demo their works of science, art or tech. Head to the Discovery Place for a day of mind-blowing fun. There will be a limited number of free exhibits and performances on North Tryon Street, but the bulk will be ticketed inside.
The original Maker Faire event was held in San Mateo, California, and in 2015 celebrated its tenth annual show with some 1100+ makers and 145,000 people in attendance! Let's give 'em a run for their money Charlotte!
