"Our brand focuses on making quality craft beer and connecting with our community, farmers, musicians, and other local artisans. Our family has lived in Cary, NC for over 45 years. Therefore, we really want to use our brand and venue to showcase our local history and promote the future of such an amazing diverse community.
Our artisan beer is crafted with natural ingredients, including hops from our own hops farm in Liberty, NC. Some of our hop varieties are specially engineered through our partnership with NC State Agricultural Department. These special hops will be brewed using traditional methods with modern techniques. Our Master Brewer Jamie McMillan trained in Germany and has been brewing for over 20 years earning regional and national awards. He also teaches brewing at Wake Tech, cultivating talent for many of the areas breweries, including our Assistant Brewer Jaime Firth. He also has managed four local brewery startups.
The Pasmore House, the location of our Taphouse, is a National Historic Site built in 1900. It was used as a housing facility for some of the first students at the original Cary High School, now the Cary Arts Center. By definition, a house is a gathering place where everyone feels welcome to share experiences. Cotton House Craft Brewers opens our home to you— to share craft beer made with hops from our own local hops farm. So y'all come on over and enjoy our home, craft beer, and the company of great neighbors." - Cotton House Craft Brewers
