Converse Over Bevs & Bites at The Durham
Join Nigerian chef Tunde Wey for a conversation on race over cocktails and delicious bites in the mezzanine of The Durham Hotel.
"Please join us on the Mezzanine at 6 pm Friday, Dec. 16 as Nigerian chef and writer Tunde Wey presents a discussion based on his dinner series, Blackness in America. Wey's events provide a setting for black discourse. The conversations, sometimes uncomfortable and always cathartic, offer up a challenge to people of all backgrounds and races to assert their identity by talking about their experiences and perspectives freely.
6-7pm: Cocktail hour with passed snacks
This event is open to the public with no fee for entry, but space is limited. Please RSVP. It is presented in partnership with CEFS Racial Equality in the Food System Initiative." –The Durham Hotel
