The Stanley is the new restaurant opening in the heart of Elizabeth in 2018 by Chef Paul Verica, 2017 James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast.
"A new restaurant operated by James Beard Nominated Chef Paul Verica and his Sous Chef and Son Alex, located just outside of uptown Charlotte, in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood.
Our menu philosophy will embrace the farm to table movement and will be seasonal, market-driven and locally sourced when our local farmers can oblige us. The focus will be on flavor and technique; incorporating many of today's dining trends. Our approach is filled with passion for the craft and art of cooking. The food style will blend a classic foundation, modern techniques, and a creative, whimsical approach.
Our beverage program will be as unique and eclectic as the food. The beer menu will showcase a variety of styles from local and regional breweries. The wine list will center on food-friendly wines from a select group of winemakers with a focus on quality and value. The cocktail offerings will be designed with flair; using fresh fruit juices, herbs and house-made infusions and extracts, allowing guests to savor classics as well as creative in-house features.
