"Sald Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington, DC (1980-1990) is a documentary film that examines the early DIY punk scene in the Nation's Capital. It was a decade when seminal bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Government Issue, Scream, Void, Faith, Rites of Spring, Marginal Man, Fugazi, and others released their own records and booked their own shows—without major record label constraints or mainstream media scrutiny.

Artists of all genres, from Nirvana and Iggy Pop to John Mayer and Trampled By Turtles, have taken this stage. If that doesn't have you amped up, don't worry, they squeeze in plenty of local artists and have become the go-to spot for album release parties in the area.

The standing-room only venue has an intimate and grungy vibe that allows you to see acts that usually take the bigger stages in a smaller setting. Grab a PBR at the bar in the back and get ready to groove. The bar is cash only, so if you're planning to imbibe come prepared—and while you're at it buy an iconic t shirt!
