Join us as we celebrate Bird Day with our favorite feathered friends! Interact with local bird experts, join and NC State citizen science initiative, and meet some of our own bird ambassadors (and their handlers!) as you explore our 84-acre campus. You can even join our resident wildlife expert, Ranger Greg, as he leads an 8am tour, a 10:30am tour, and a 1pm tour. Guests are encouraged to bring their own binoculars but we will have some to borrow as well

* Durham Master Gardeners

* Don't Waste Durham—featuring solutions for single use plastic alternatives to lessen our impact on local wildlife

* NCSU urban bird count citizen science study: http://trianglebirds.org/

Programs included:

*The Lab will be featuring a program titled "What Life is Like for Birds", one of whose components is Bird Bingo. Cards will be available at The Lab. All day.

*Misha our education hawk and his Keepers @ The Farmyard 1pm

*Education chickens and their Keepers @ Dino Dig Pit at 10am and 11:30am"
